ANIMAL CARE ASSISTANT
Animal Care Assistants help with various farm chores aimed at providing high quality care of the Highland Heights Farm livestock. This includes jobs like mucking stalls, cleaning barns and pens, filling supplies, cleaning water bowls and troughs, collecting eggs, preparing feed for the day, assisting with health care processes or other tasks as assigned—and of course spending quality time engaging with our animals.

CONTENT CREATOR
We are looking for a talented Content Creator to help create content for our social media accounts. These responsibilities include creating, rewriting, and improving text and possible video content. You will directly report to the Director and work to manage our organization’s image in a cohesive way to achieve our marketing goals.
In this role, you should be up to date with the latest digital technologies, social media trends, and able to report social media analytics in an easy-to-understand manner. If you are passionate about social media and eager to learn more, we would like to meet you.

HARVEST ASSISTANT
As the Harvest Assistant, you are an integral member of our team. Your ability to keep the farm organized, moving efficiently, and prepared for future tasks is critical to the overall success of our operation. You will assist with weekly harvesting, manage post-harvest techniques of washing and packing as well as coordinate delivery/pickup to our partners.

PUBLIC RELATIONS COORDINATOR
Assist in the planning and coordinating of a comprehensive and diversified public relations program to publicize and promote Highland Heights Foundation activities and programs for general and specialized audiences, marketing and communications initiatives through event planning, volunteer management and public relations skills.

DELIVERY DRIVER
We are looking for a reliable delivery driver who is passionate about our mission and loves people. The delivery driver will be delivering produce to our various food partners within our service area. You should be willing to work as part of a team in order to ensure that the items are complete, packed correctly, and safely delivered to our partners.

FARM HAND
We strive for a work environment that is challenging but not grueling. It is highly physical work and primary duties will change some over the course of the season. In the spring you’ll be applying compost to greenhouse beds, seeding, transplanting, and hand-weeding. These positions will also be focused on keeping up with tomato and cucumber trellising in the high tunnels throughout the season. By mid-season you will work along-side our harvest assistant on harvesting, washing and packing for our partners. Winter will focus more on our hydroponic greenhouse production.
